It is located in Central America, limiting with Panama to the South, Nicaragua to the North, the Pacific Ocean to the West and the Atlantic Ocean to the East.

How is the weather in Costa Rica?
Due to the geographic characteristics, the climatic conditions vary; oscillating between 17 and 26 degrees Celsius in the Central Valley and between 24 and 31 degrees Celsius in the Pacific and the Caribbean. In winter, the temperatures descend, but not more than 5 degrees Celsius and the humidity increases considerably. It is considered summer or dry season from December to April and winter or rainy season from May to November.

Is the water potable/drinkable in Costa Rica?
Yes, water is nearly 100% potable all over the country. It is safe for showering or consumption but some visitors prefer to drink bottled water.

What kind of clothes will I need in Costa Rica?
The climate is generally warm and sometimes humid; it is suggested to bring shorts, jeans and light clothes year round without forgetting a raincoat in the event of an unexpected drizzle. In addition, during the winter, we suggest to bring closed shoes, light sweater or windbreaker and umbrella.
